Los Angeles, CA: Allied Wallet, a globally leading provider of online credit card processing, multi-currency merchant services, has a widely known global presence in online transactions and e-commerce. Allied Wallet renewed its sponsorship of Action Innocence to maintain its contribution to the safety of children online.
CEO Andy Khawaja of Allied Wallet traveled to Geneva, Switzerland recently to give a speech to a star-studded crowd of faces whom contribute to Action Innocence. Action Innocence has been working to preserve the dignity and integrity of children on the internet since 1999 and schedules their charity Gala annually.
CEO Khawaja’s speech warned of those that strive to take advantage of our youth online. It’s one of his personal missions to try and fight against the evil that lurks on the internet, and he’s already donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the cause. The Allied Wallet CEO and his company are no strangers to partnerships, sponsorships, and contributions that make the world a better place.
Allied Wallet sponsors many other charities including the Wounded Warrior Project, the Eagle and Badge Foundation, After-School All-Stars, the Brent Shapiro Foundation, ASACP, LA Police Canine Association, and more.
“I speak on behalf of the children who have not been able to speak out, the children who have been taken advantage of,” said Andy Khawaja, “…and for the parents of these children. We need to protect their innocence and ensure that the experience they have online is safe and positive.”
The charity gala was decorated beautifully as a red carpet affair and featured fantastic performances and speeches, from Khawaja and others alike. The gala also featured a luxury item auction with proceeds going to Action Innocence, to which CEO Khawaja donated an additional $160,000.
Khawaja commented, “I’m very pleased to be part of such a fantastic event that can take fashion and luxury and put it towards such a great cause. Together, we’ve raised a sum of money that will protect children all over the world which, in my opinion, is very important. The children are our future.”
Andy Khawaja and members of his team at Allied Wallet were proud to attend the event another year and do their part in protecting children against online abuse.
