Los Angeles, CA: Allied Wallet, a globally leading provider of online credit card processing, multi-currency merchant services, and a PCI Level 1 secured payment gateway, was recently featured in Start your Business Arabia in an interview with its CEO Andy Khawaja.
Start Your Business Arabia is a popular Arabian magazine that offers news, tips, and advice to entrepreneurs in the MENA regions. In the December 2013 issue of Start Your Business Arabia, Allied Wallet’s CEO Andy Khawaja was interviewed on his plans for growing e-commerce in the Middle East. Khawaja offers insight as to why there is so much potential in the Middle East for e-commerce and how he plans to stimulate it.
“I want to give entrepreneurs the opportunity and exposure to sell their products online, when their local bank wouldn’t even consider it,” Khawaja said. “I want to serve every currency and every language,” he added.
Khawaja has met with banks all over the Middle East including areas such as Lebanon, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. From his meetings and travels, he was able to decipher what could be improved in the MENA regions to stimulate e-commerce and increase the volume of e-commerce transactions.
Khawaja is a constant traveler and he is always on the road to build his business and increase its connections. The company’s success can be attributed to his relentless drive to learn, build, and “make the impossible come true,” as stated in Start Your Business Magazine.
Beyond Allied Wallet, Andy Khawaja is featured in Start Your Business Arabia for his success in life and his relentless ability to work towards his goals. Khawaja has worked hard and surpassed social norms and traditions to build, what INC Magazine calls, “one of the fastest growing companies in the world.”
When asked about his work ethic, Andy replied, “Some people say I am a workaholic, but I don’t think so because I enjoy what I do. I don’t do it because I have to, I do it because I want to.”
Khawaja believes that the Middle East has a “phenomenal future ahead of them” and he has made it his mission to perpetuate e-commerce throughout the region.
